Powerhouse: Love God, Love Music, Love Maputo

Every Thursday night, Powerhouse crams about 500 or so people into an old chapel building for a time of worshipping God through music, prayer and even times of silence.

Needless to say, it's a powerful time.

One Thursday night, they invited Delainna Batoon from JESUSpolitik to lead in prayer for the world, specifically Mozambique.

God spoke to the hearts of those that were there. They took up a love offering to benefit the ongoing work of Mugara and Raquel in Mozambique, missionaries leading the Maputo Project (aka Love Maputo).

Even though land an sea may separate them, the street kids are brothers and sisters in the Lord to all of us and we've got to help one another. It was seen perhaps never so clearly as it was seen that night.

So that's their story, an easy way to use the gifts and callings they already have and the things that they were already doing as a way to help touch the lives of their brothers and sisters across the globe. Simple. Easy. Powerful.
