Steve has been painting custom cars, race cars, motorcycles and hotrods since he was a teenager.

When he was 21, he started his own business - doing custom painting, graphics, airbrushing, lettering, pinstriping  and, murals. His work won numerous prizes in Car Shows and many of his client's vehicles were featured in top national magazines.

While still in his twenties he and his wife, Linda were called to the mission field, he continued using his art. In addition to illustrating books, book covers and gospel tracts for the Bible Society of India, Operation Mobilization, Missionary Crusader, Aasha comics and Life Messengers, he used his lettering and graphics skills to pay their own missions support. He did the lettering and graphics on almost every fuel funny car dragster in the UK, working with then European fuel funny car champion, Ronnie Picardo.

Coming back to the US, he lead a Bible study that later became The Worship Center church. Check it out (www.theworshipcenter.org). As you can imagine, The Worship Center has a strong emphasis on outreach and world evangelism and whole inside of the building has a heck of a custom trick paint job!

Steve is also Melissa Davis' dad! He came up with the idea to design some tees to help support JESUSpolitik, the Love Maputo Project and the Hope for India Project. He thought we needed some designs that were a little bolder.

 He said, "Those tyedyed shirts are pretty, but I'm not gonna wear 'em to any car shows. Let me do some new designs for you guys. I want to wear JESUSPolitik shirts, too!"

So, he came back from his studio with the designs for our newest three tees. The "Love Maputo" one and the "Hope for India" designs were from logo's he had already worked on  The "Jesus Politik" design was a totally new idea.

After quickly passing the approval of our board of advisors, we sent his designs off to our tee shirt supplier and within a couple of weeks, Steve was wearing one of our new tees! And now, you can, too.

You can buy our new JESUSpolitik tees for just $10 a piece. They're a good way to spread the vision, and also as a reminder to pray for JESUSpolitik and our international projects. They are also a good talking point to spread the word to whoever you see.
