We love it when churches can get involved to help the Love Maputo Project! There are so many things that can be done.

Maybe we could have a JESUSpolitik speaker come to a Sunday night or weekday service to share a message and then also talk about the Love Maputo Project?

Maybe the church could do a fundraiser to help a specific part of the mission or give a love offering?

 If the churches have any contacts in Mozambique, maybe they could get involved. In the future we hope to build a safehouse and will need volunteers for a short term mission to help. So there is that opportunity that may be possible as well. 

Some churches put on talent shows for their congregations and invite the community, maybe this could be an idea for a fundraiser? Charge $2 a ticket and donate the proceeds to the Love Maputo Project? We could make pamphlets and a DVD available to show. We could bring a JESUSpolitik speaker to the event to talk about the project and we could make a cool poster to help advertise the event for the church. This is doubly good for the church because it gets the name of the church out to the community so the church can grow and reach more people for Jesus – plus it shows that the church cares about getting involved to help people that are suffering around the world.

Or perhaps a potluck dinner with a suggested donation of $5 a person?

" Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
