JESUSpolitik Internship Program

Would you like to have an internship doing something you actually care about?  You have to get the credit hours for your major requirements anyways, you might as well get something out of it!

If you'd like to intern with JESUSpolitik, we can work with you either as a distance program, locally (if you just so happen to live in our area) or abroad. We're pretty flexible with when you fulfill the required hours, as long as they all add up. We expect you to give your best effort, we'll work the heck out of you and you'll love every minute of it! Plus, afterwards we'll keep in touch and see how we can help you along to where God is calling you.

We offer three types of internships for a variety of different fields of study. Interns may be involved through:(1) hands on experience in a nonprofit environment, (2) a full immersion experience serving with JESUSpolitik projects overseas, or (3) a long distance experience that can be fulfilled from anywhere in the U.S.

We primarily recommend the long distance experience for those desiring flexibility to work to a deadline rather than to set hours or a daily schedule and to avoid travel expenses. Long distance interns can work from home, while in school or wherever!

U.S. & Long Distance Internships:
·      Film / Videography / Digital Media
·      Business - Grant writing
·      Nonprofit Development
·      Sociology & Psychology (Research based)
·      Art / Graphic Design
·      Marketing

International experiences may be available for the following majors: Intercultural studies, Religion / Ministry / Missions, Psychology, Sociology, Medical majors (nursing, physical therapy), Linguistics – Portuguese / Telegu / Hindi, Film / Videography / Digital Media, Photography / Photojournalism & Nutrition.

If you don't see your major listed above, but still want to get involved or have an idea for how we could tailor an internship experience to fit you - please contact us!

Student Responsibilities & Benefits
As an intern for JESUSpolitik, you’ll work with a young and vibrant nonprofit that connects indigenous missions groups overseas with the resources they need while connecting students in the U.S. with meaningful ways to get involved helping people using their individual talents.

You’ll obtain the information you need to prepare you for your career path and get a solid understanding of what fulfilling your calling may mean. This is a great opportunity for tomorrow’s leaders and those praying about their calling. We strongly encourage you to apply.

Interns receive college credit through their schools and are responsible for fulfilling any academic component their schools may require. Internships with JESUSpolitik benefit students in several ways including: college credit and recognition, flexibility to work to a deadline rather than to set hours or a daily schedule, real life experience, letters of recommendation at the completion of your internship and a framed certificate.
