Have you ever thought of hosting a video game night or LAN party? Invite people to play games all night and take a $2 donation for Love Maputo at the door.

Have pamphlets on the Love Maputo Project there to give out as well and  show the 10 minute mini documentary half way through the night to let people know what they are helping to support. If you don't have one of these Love Maputo Mini-Documentary DVDs, we can get you one - just send us your post address. Inside the cover are questions that you can ask at the end of the video to facilitate discussion and action.

A video game night or LAN party might make for a nice evening with your friends, while also providing help for some people halfway around the world that really need it. And, you'd probably be spending that night playing video games anyways, are we right? You might as well put those interests to good use!

Take some pictures, maybe even a short video with some people's reactions, and we may be able to use it as an Activism Story on here to get people fired up and thinking of simple ways and creative ways that they can use the talents, resources, interests and abilities that they already have right now and right here for God and to help His people.  

 You got game.

Your parents may have always told you that video games will make your mind rot, give you carpal tunnel syndrome and impair your vision permanently... but we've thought of a pretty cool way you can put that so called "worthless" talent to good use.

Maybe you can't be the high scorer on Donkey Kong forever, but you can use your interest in video games to help make an eternal difference in the life of child, a man, a woman, a son, a daughter... someone that needs you to do something.
